Our verdict
Where it wins
- Lowest starting price of the three blankets by a wide margin
- Largest range of weight and size combinations, including kids' sizes
- Small sewn pockets keep beads from clumping in one spot
Where it loses
- Materials and stitching feel noticeably more basic than Gravity or Bearaby at this price
- No separate duvet cover system on the base cotton version, so the whole blanket needs washing
- 1-year warranty is shorter than what some competitors offer
YnM's Original Cotton blanket is the budget entry here, glass beads sewn into small pockets inside a plain cotton shell. It costs a fraction of Gravity or Bearaby and covers more sizes, including kids', but the fabric and construction feel noticeably cheaper. It's a reasonable low-cost way to try a weighted blanket before spending more.
