About prices on this site

Every price we publish shows the date we checked it against the store's own page. That date is the whole point of the site, and it is also the limit of what we can promise: a price was correct at that store on that date, as far as we could see it. Prices move, stock runs out, sales end, and regional pricing differs. Confirm the price at the retailer before you buy. The retailer's page is always authoritative, ours is not.

Prices are shown in US dollars for US retailers. They exclude shipping, taxes and any fees the store adds at checkout unless we say otherwise next to the offer.

We are not a shop. We do not sell anything, hold stock, take payment or ship orders. When you follow a link you leave this site and buy from that retailer under their terms. Anything about your order, including delivery, returns, warranty and refunds, is between you and them.

Product names and trademarks

Brand names, product names and logos belong to their owners. We use them only to identify the products we compare, which is ordinary descriptive use. It does not imply that any brand endorses, sponsors or is affiliated with this site. Product photos are used with the credit and licence terms noted next to them. If you own a mark or an image and believe we have used it incorrectly, write to us and we will fix it.

Our content

The text, comparisons and verdicts on this site are ours. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back. Republishing pages wholesale, or scraping the site to rebuild our price data elsewhere, is not allowed. We do not test products in a lab or handle them; our verdicts are research and reasoning based on manufacturer specifications and published sources, and we say where a claim comes from.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. We work carefully, but we do not warrant that the information here is complete, current or error free, and we do not warrant that the site will be available without interruption. Nothing here is medical, financial or professional advice. Decisions you make from what you read here are yours.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including loss of profit, loss of data, or the difference between a price shown here and the price you were charged at a store. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Links out

We link to retailers and to sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their prices or their privacy practices. Some of those links are affiliate links, which means the retailer pays us a commission if you buy after clicking one, at no extra cost to you. Every page that carries one shows a disclosure above the link.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page always shows when they were last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies.

Who runs this site and which law applies

atagoodprice.com is built and run by Linus Johansson, a one-person operation based in Sweden. These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by Swedish law, and the Swedish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
