Black Friday 2026 lands on November 27. This page exists so you can decide whether the Hatch Restore 3 is worth waiting for, using numbers instead of a countdown timer. We track the price, we date every check, and we say plainly when a discount is not actually a discount.
The starting point: Hatch lists the Restore 3 at $169.99 on its own site, and Target listed it at the same $169.99. Those are the prices on the table above, each stamped with the day we checked. That $169.99 has been the standing list price all year, which makes it the number every Black Friday claim should be measured against.
One thing to factor in before you shop the sticker price. The Restore 3 ships with 40 sleep sounds and works without paying anything more, but Hatch's larger content library sits behind the Hatch+ subscription at $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year, per Hatch. A $30 hardware discount is worth roughly seven months of that subscription, so decide whether you want Hatch+ before you decide what the clock is worth to you.
What a real deal looks like
The documented floor is $139.99. Two separate 2025 sale events put the Restore 3 there and no outlet we could open documented it going lower, so anything at or below $139.99 matches the best price on record, and anything under $135 would be new ground. A $10 or $15 trim off $169.99 in late November is a normal sale, not a Black Friday price, and history says the $30 cut tends to come back.

Friday, November 27, 2026. Retailers now start sunrise alarm clock discounts in the week before and usually run them through Cyber Monday, so the Friday itself is rarely the only chance.
Will the Hatch Restore 3 definitely be discounted on Black Friday 2026?
We cannot promise that, and nobody honestly can. What we can say is that it was discounted to $139.99 in both the June and October 2025 Prime Day events, per Tom's Guide, so it is a clock that does go on sale even though it does not go on sale often.
Is $139.99 a good price for a sunrise alarm clock?
It is the lowest price we can document for this particular clock, but it is still expensive for the category. Two clocks we track sit far below it every day of the year, so if you mainly want a light that ramps up before your alarm, the Black Friday question may not be the right question.
Does the Hatch Restore 3 need the Hatch+ subscription?
No. Hatch states the clock ships with 40 sleep sounds and its lighting presets included, and the alarm, light and sound all work without paying. Hatch+ costs $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year and unlocks the larger audio library.
